How Glow & Grow is Transforming Lives in Northern Ireland

What began as a simple idea — to create space for women to connect, celebrate, and support one another — has grown into something much bigger. Glow & Grow is more than just an event series. It’s a movement. A community. A safe and vibrant space where women in Northern Ireland are finding hope, friendship, and the confidence to shine again.

At the heart of Glow & Grow is our mission to uplift women and give back. Every event raises essential funds for Women’s Aid Belfast & Lisburn, helping to support women and children experiencing domestic abuse. But alongside the financial donations, we’re witnessing something equally powerful: emotional impact.

The messages we receive from the women who attend our events speak volumes. They remind us why this work matters — and why it must continue.

One woman shared after our last gathering:

“Thank you so much for organising this event, I have never felt so supported in my entire life. I believe I have met friends for life.”

For many attendees, Glow & Grow is more than a night out. It’s a lifeline. A space where they feel seen, heard, and held — often for the first time in years. It’s a reminder that even in difficult seasons, they are not alone.

Another woman bravely told us:

“I’m just going through a relationship breakdown and wasn’t going to come to this event, but I’m glad I did because I feel so uplifted and have had an amazing time. I can’t wait for the next one.”

Our mission is especially important for women over 40 — a group who often feel invisible or left behind in traditional spaces. One attendee’s message captured this beautifully:

“I barely leave the house these days and have started to feel lonely. Glow & Grow has shown me that life does not stop at 40. I’m ready for another go.”
